I for one welcome our new Google overlords

Another day, another Google tech is taking over another aspect of my life.  I haven't blogged publicly in years, mostly due to cynicism.  Who's going to read your blog when nobody really even cares about your facebook posts?  But I'm fresh off a month of off-gassing my jaded thoughts by taking on nitrogen at 100 feet or so every day, so it seemed like a good time to start again.  Plus if I can save just one soul from doing something useful with their time by having to scan through my random blog posts that may show up on their google searches, then it was all worth it wasn't it?  Also I like to hear myself type.  That and I need to see if this is useful for work at all.
